Travel Pass Calculators: Is the Pass Worth It?
Rail passes and city sightseeing passes only pay off for specific trips: pack the right attractions into the right number of days and they save real money; buy one for a slow itinerary and it's an expensive souvenir. Each calculator below prices the pass against buying tickets separately for YOUR list, using the same fare and price data as our trip planner, and tells you honestly when to skip the pass.

Open calculator →How the verdicts work
Tick the attractions or train legs you actually want. We price every option on the same list: covered picks ride the pass, uncovered picks get added at gate price, and transit gets counted when a pass bundles it. Unlimited passes are also checked against a realistic sightseeing pace, so we never recommend a pass your schedule can't physically use.
Prices refresh from our booking partners; the pages note when a figure is a researched baseline. When buying separately wins, that's the verdict we show.
